The individuals nominated should have made a significant impact or positive influence that assures the future of our industry in the lives of generations to come.
Once nominated, an individual’s biography and photo are updated on the site, and he or she is placed in the polls for voting. At the end of the year the committee takes into consideration the votes and decides which candidates are inducted.
Those with a star (*) next to their name below were either inducted posthumously or have passed away since being inducted.

Bob Stone
With over 47 years of professional landscape architectural experience, Bob’s commitment, integrity, and passion have led to over 60 landscape industry awards. From Landscape Architect with NUVIS, to Principal, and now 40 years as a Partner, Bob has invested countless hours of his creativity mentoring the NUVIS team and ensuring clients always receive site specific, unique, and responsible landscape design solutions.
Bob works closely with fellow A/E professionals to achieve LEED certifications for projects across California and Nevada understanding that the true definition of sustainability is to meet the current trends and needs without compromising future generations to meet theirs. Bob’s lifetime investment into the field of landscape architecture has included an array of project types including, but not limited to, residential communities and multi-family living, custom homes, educational and institutional facilities, park and recreational facilities, transportation corridors and streetscapes, natural open space, and civic facilities. He actively participates in industry organizations including ASLA, BIA, ULI and has contributed to more than a dozen industry specific publications.
Bob served as Treasurer (1983) for ASLA Southern California where he met his wife Janet who was serving as Chapter Secretary. As a son, brother, father, husband and now proud grandfather, Bob has supported his family in a variety of unique ways from being an organ donor to working alongside his wife; Bob has a heart that puts family first. Establishing and growing a family avocado ranch instilled in Bob a sense of the responsibility of the natural environment that became integrated into his career as a landscape architect.
Bob enjoys personal collaboration with clients, colleagues, and vendors toward achieving an aesthetic landscape solution employing best management practices that consider the impacts on the land and future generations.
