Javier Reyes

Javier Reyes arrived in the United States at the age of 14 and, after working various jobs, discovered his passion in the landscaping industry. His journey began in the late 1970s, working for other landscape contractors, where he identified a significant opportunity to establish a company offering more comprehensive services. Despite not having a high school diploma, Javier boldly founded Villa Park Landscape in 1986. Through a steadfast commitment to expert craftsmanship, reliability, and a customer-centric philosophy, Javier cultivated a business model that set new standards in the industry.

Renowned for his astute problem-solving skills and keen understanding of landscaping challenges, Javier quickly became a respected figure. Villa Park Landscape, starting from humble origins, flourished under Javier's leadership, driven by a familial ethos that prioritized integrity and trust.

Javier has made significant contributions to the green industry, notably through his pioneering efforts in sustainable waste management practices. Recognizing the need for environmentally responsible solutions, 18 years ago Javier envisioned and established a 3-acre green waste facility at Villa Park Landscape. This facility plays a crucial role in the company's operations by composting the green waste generated from their landscaping activities into high-quality mulch.

Javier's ability to identify and resolve complex landscaping issues, coupled with his dedication to continuous improvement and innovation, has not only shaped Villa Park Landscape into a thriving enterprise but has also inspired countless professionals in the field. His journey from humble beginnings to industry leader exemplifies resilience, perseverance, and a deep-rooted passion for sustainability and quality craftsmanship.
